The CWC is currently looking for temporary Full Time Fitness Program Supervisor to fill a 12 month maternity leave. This role will be responsible for the successful staffing and operations of all fitness programming in the Fitness & Lifestyle Centre which includes over 100 classes per week. The Programmer implements the policies set by the Club and must adhere to and enforce the department’s Code of Ethics.

Key Accountabilities

1. Develop new initiatives, quality programs, and events/challenges based upon needs, trends analysis and continuous evaluation.
2. Liaise and work closely with internal and external partners on program/service initiatives.
3. Provide opportunities for continuing education and incentives.
4. In concert with the Fitness Manager, set, monitor, and meet budget goals and objectives.
5. Coordinate equipment purchases, inventory, and maintenance for specialty and group fitness areas.
6. Ensure all Fitness department program and event billings and credits are completed accurately.
7. Plan and schedule all classes and studios for each session.
8. Maintain a reasonable level of personal fitness and health in order to promote and instruct programs. Must be able to sub classes as needed.
9. Countinuously educate and attend professional development workshops, conferences, and training to stay current within the Fitness Industry.

Skills & Qualifications Required
1. Excellent customer service and communication skills (verbal and written)
2. Solutions oriented and proactive in nature
3. Excellent computer and organization skills
4. Team player and strong individual contributor
5. Bachelors degree in Kinesiology or related field
6. Current CPR and First Aid certifications
7. 3–6 years related experience
8. Additional certifications and associations in the industry are an asset e.g certification through AFLCA, CSEP/CPT, Can-Fit-Pro, etc.
