Join AFLCA Trainer, Simone Hodgkinson, as she shares the specific poses, cues and modifications to allow participants to safely increase their range of motion in the hips and hamstrings.

The average adult lacks range of motion in the hips and hamstrings which can have a detrimental effect on the health of the lower back and the knees. Explore a range of poses for the hips and hamstrings, different modifications and effective cues to help you make a difference for the participants in your classes and/or your personal training clients.


Simone Hodgkinson has been in the fitness and wellness industry for over 25 years. Simone has designed and delivered many courses (yoga and fitness),written several manuals, presented on TV, produced DVD’s, presented at international conferences and written for newspapers and magazines. Currently, Simone is the director of Physical Yoga, Group Fitness Supervisor for the Glencoe Club, a Bender Ball master trainer, ViPR Group Pro Trainer and CEC provider for AFLCA and CanFitPro.
