The Alberta Fitness Leadership Certification Association, formed in 1984, is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to developing, promoting and implementing national standards for the training and certification of exercise professionals in Alberta. We offer a wide range of certification from one-on-one fitness training to exercise class leadership in a variety of settings, e.g. aquatics, resistance training, older adult and group exercise specializations: cycle, choreography, mind/body, step, portable equipment.

Community Programs
The AFLCA delivers a variety of Community Programs to educate, train and empower practitioners within their community. AFLCA Community Programs are available for those working with children, youth, teens, special populations, older adults, and health promotion services.
AFLCA Trainers
