Step Up Alberta! Join thousands of Albertans for Winter Walk Day on Wednesday, February 8, 2012. It’s easy to participate, simply walk outside for at least 15 minutes then visit www.shapeab.com to submit yourself or your groups walking minutes.
Walk together and organize an event in your community! Pre-register your group to receive information to help support your event. Schools, day cares and community groups who pre-register will receive a participant giveaway per child.
Winter Walk Day is brought to you by Safe Healthy Active People Everywhere (SHAPE), your local Be Fit for Life Centre, Alberta Motor Association and the Alberta Sport, Recreation, Parks and Wildlife Foundation on behalf of the Alberta Government.
