Steps to Remain a CSEP Member in Good Standing:
- Submit annual renewal form to Alberta CSEP Office by March 31st of EVERY year
- Pay annual renewal fees
- Complete on-line survey
- Provide proof of current CPR Level C or Health Care Provider (must be within 1 year of date of issue)
- Submit Professional Development Credits (PDCs)
– CSEP-CEPs are required to submit 30 PDCs by the March 31, 2013 renewal deadline
– CSEP-CPTs are required to submit 30 PDCs by the March 31, 2014 renewal deadline

NEW – PDC Hosting Application Form!
- In accordance with CSEP PDC Category D – seminars/workshops offered by active CSEP-CEPs where the content is related to physical activity/exercise science fitness applications; the Alberta CSEP Health & Fitness Program now offers a PDC Hosting application for interested CEPs. Upon approval of the PDC seminar/workshop; registration information will be advertised on this website.

Please note:
- Renewal documents were sent out in mid February 2011. If you did not receive your renewal form; you are still required to renew. Please contact Michelle Berg for more information. michelle.berg@ualberta.ca
- Alberta CSEP DOES NOT award credit for renewal of CPR or First Aid, as it a requirement of your renewal for insurance purposes
- Health, Physical Activity & Exercise Conferences/Courses/Workshops are considered to be those with a scientific basis and based on current research and information. Fitness Workshops/Courses are considered to be those that are based on more of a practical nature with a focus on exercise classes, leadership, etc.
- PDC submission must be done via a PDC Request Form – available in the FORMS section of this website.
