Our Team:
The recreation facility provides clean, safe multi-purpose spaces for a variety of leisure/recreation/wellness services, opportunities, programs, skill development, events and activities that enhance the quality of life for residents in and around Airdrie.

Fitness and Leisure: Provides the planning and delivery of recreation programs to meet the demands of the public and provide the public with a variety of opportunities to constructively use their leisure time.

The Opportunity:
• Deliver high quality group recreation based classes for preschool, children and youth
• Motivate and inspire confidence to participants

You Bring:
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Current Standard First Aid/CPR C and AED required (upload copies of certification with online application)
• Past experience and demonstrated skills teaching group recreation programs required
• Current AFLCA Ever Active Kids certifications or equivalent in specialties specific to preschool, children and youth programming (ie: Zumba Jr and DancePlay) (upload copies of certification with online application)
• Proven background in providing exceptional customer service
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Mature and reliable

Additional Information:
This competition is for part time (casual) Recreation Group Instructors for daytime, evening and weekend classes. Candidates with a variety of AFLCA or equivalent in specialties, will be given first priority.
