CSEP Award Nominations

Integrity. Leadership. Commitment. Passion. Recognition.

CSEP is the gold standard in exercise professional accreditation. The CSEP awards recognize achievement amongst Alberta CSEP members and are given to members who stand out as leaders among the industry’s best. Recognizing how high the bar is for CSEP members acknowledges the achievement of outstanding individuals and affirms the outstanding service and professionalism of CSEP professionals. If you know of someone who deserves recognition for their efforts, please forward their nomination.

CSEP CEP® Award

The CSEP CEP® Recognition Award acknowledges a CSEP CEP® in Alberta who demonstrates an outstanding standard of service and professional integrity. How do they do this? By demonstrably contributing to the profession through their activities (writing, research, creation of new programs, outstanding level of service in the field; by practicing exercise prescription to the highest possible standard; providing leadership in the promotion and visibility of CSEP CEP®s in the province.

To be qualified nominees must be:
– Certified in Alberta as a CSEP CEP® in good standing
– Currently working in the fitness industry

CSEP CPT® Award

The CSEP CPT® Recognition Award acknowledges a CSEP CPT® in Alberta who demonstrates a high standard of service and professional integrity. How do they do this? By demonstrably contributing to the profession through their activities (writing, research, creation of new programs, outstanding level of service in the field; by practicing exercise prescription to the highest possible standard; providing leadership in the promotion and visibility of CSEP CPT®s in the province.

To be qualified nominees must be:
– Certified in Alberta as a CSEP CPT® in good standing
– Currently working in the fitness industry

CSEP Dr. Erwin E. Bako Award

This award recognizes outstanding leadership in memory of the dedication, support and leadership which Dr. Erwin E. Bako, a former physician and member of the board for the Alberta Medical Association in the 70’s and 80’s, brought to the profession of fitness and lifestyle consulting.

To be qualified nominees must be:
– Certified in Alberta as a CSEP CPT® or CSEP CEP® in good standing
– Currently working in the fitness industry

Nomination process

Nominations must be submitted by a current CSEP CEP® or CSEP CPT® in good standing, and should include a written justification for the nomination. (This should be a minimum of one and a maximum of two typewritten pages in length).

The nominee must also accept the nomination. Curriculum vitae of the nominee, and two letters of support (from a CSEP member and client) must be provided with the nomination.

All submissions are to be sent via email, fax or mail to the Alberta CSEP Office.
