CSEP-CPT Re-certification Courses

All CSEP CPTs must complete a re-certification course within three years of the original date of certification. This is a four hour course that updates industry best-practice protocols and standards. It does focus on the practical components of the CSEP-CPT Certification so dress comfortably and bring your CPAFLA Manual and a pen/pencil and paper.

ALL CSEP-CPTs originally certified in or before 2009 are REQUIRED to complete a CPT re-cert course PRIOR to the March 31, 2012 membership renewal deadline

CSEP-CPT DISTANCE EDUCATION Re-certification Courses

A Distance Education CPT re-certification course is available for those CPTs who qualify

Qualifications include:

- those living in rural areas and/or are unable to travel to participate in scheduled re-cert courses
– those out of the Province/Country at the time of scheduled re-cert courses
– those with other extenuating circumstances and who submit details of their specific situation to the Alberta CSEP Health & Fitness Program Coordinator (Michelle Berg)
