BFFL School Programs
Programs tailored to Your School’s Needs
Each Be Fit For Life Centre develops unique programs and initiatives to respond to the needs and interest of schools and teachers in their region.
Many of the Be Fit For Life Centres have a variety of equipment that they can use to help assist active living and physical activity. This includes pedometers, heart rate monitors, balance and strength equipment. Contact the centre nearest you for more information.
Get Active and Learn
Childhood obesity is a serious problem in Canada. Recent statistics show that fully 25% of children are obese, and almost 50% are overweight.
Be Fit For Life Programs are easily integrated into phys-ed related classroom activities. Who knew you could move your body and learn about math at the same time? We did. We can deliver programs to your students in the classroom, or we can set up a workshop so your teachers can learn how to incorporate physical activity into everyday learning. All Be Fit for Life programs are linked to Alberta Education’s K-12 Physical Education Program of Studies, most with links to Outcome B-Benefits Health.
